Fresh and Funky Styling

The new Picanto retains its compact dimensions, ideal for navigating South Africa's busy urban streets, but now features a bolder, more assertive design. A redesigned grille, eye-catching headlights, and sportier bumpers give the Picanto a more youthful presence. Kia has even introduced new wheel options and paint colours to allow owners to personalise their rides even further.

Interior Refinements

Step inside the 2024 Picanto and you'll find a surprisingly spacious and well-appointed cabin, especially considering its compact size. Updates include revised materials, a redesigned dashboard, and pops of bright color accents to liven up the space. Kia has upgraded the infotainment system too, with the larger touchscreen now standard across most models, featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Peppy and Fuel-Efficient

The new Kia Picanto retains its lineup of small but fuel-efficient petrol engines which have had minor enhancements that maximise efficiency and lower CO2 emissions. These are perfectly suited to urban driving, delivering enough pep for city traffic while ensuring low running costs – a significant factor for South African buyers. Transmission choices will remain a mix of manual and automatic gearboxes to suit different preferences.

Packed with Essential Features

While the Picanto focuses on affordability, Kia hasn't skimped on safety and convenience features. Expect essentials like multiple airbags, stability control, and rear parking sensors as standard. Higher-spec Picantos will likely add features like a rearview camera, automatic climate control, and an upgraded sound system for added comfort and enjoyment.

The Ideal South African City Car

The Kia Picanto's blend of affordability, practicality, and a touch of style make it a strong contender in the competitive South African city car segment. Its compact size is perfect for crowded city streets and tight parking spots. Plus, Kia's reputation for reliability and its generous warranty offer additional peace of mind for budget-conscious buyers.
