The Red Bull Showrun is thundering back to South Africa, and this time it's set to turn the swanky streets of Sandton into a tarmac-melting, rubber-burning Formula 1 playground!
Sandton Goes Full Throttle: From Business Hub to F1 Heaven
Forget the usual mundane Monday meetings and boring boardroom battles. On Sunday, 6 October 2024, Katherine Street in Sandton will be transformed into a mini Monaco. It's like someone's taken a chunk of the most glamorous F1 circuit and plonked it right in the heart of Joburg's business district.
The Star of the Show: The Unstoppable RB7
The RB7 - a car so dominant it makes other F1 machines look like they're powered by hamsters on wheels. This beast claimed 18 out of 19 poles and snatched 12 victories faster than you can say "Sebastian Vettel". Speaking of which, Vettel and Mark Webber rode this mechanical marvel to a double drivers and constructors championship victory in 2011.
The Man, The Myth, The Chin: David Coulthard Takes the Wheel
Wonder who’s driving? None other than David "The Chin" Coulthard, a man whose jawline is almost as impressive as his driving skills, will be piloting the RB7.
But Wait, There's More!
As if an F1 car wasn't enough to get your petrolhead hearts racing, Red Bull's throwing in a whole circus of automotive acrobatics:
1. Elias Hountondji: One half of the "Red Bull Driftbrothers" and a trained aerospace engineer.
2. Arūnas 'Aras' Gibieža: A motorbike stunt rider who makes Evil Knievel look like he was riding a tricycle.
3. Mystery Surprises: Because Red Bull loves keeping us on our toes.
Mark Your Calendars, Set Your Alarms, Tell Your Neighbours!
Sunday, 6 October 2024. That's the day Sandton goes from "pretty neat" to "absolutely bonkers". It's a family-friendly event, which means you can bring the kids, the dog, and maybe that cousin who still thinks F1 is just "driving in circles".

And if you want to secure your spot (and trust us, you do), race over to Computicket faster than Max Verstappen on the last lap.
